Vegetable oils have proven to be the best "carriers" of active oxygen, thanks to the way in which ozone reacts with the double bonds of the fatty acid chains forming ozonides.

Ozone activity in the product is ensured by the use of an unsaturated matrix whose chemical nature promotes the formation of ozonides: the release of active oxygen is the consequence of the chemical-physical balance that characterizes the matrix. Criegee’s mechanism completes the ozonide stability profile.

The ozonides thus become sources of “ACTIVE OXYGEN”, with constant and reproducible characteristics.

The gradual, controlled release of “active oxygen” by our functional substances induces and stimulates endogenous defence mechanisms. The proven development of tolerance to weather stress prevents skin ageing and favours renewal.
